I’m a Wife of 35 years, Mother of a wonderful son and daughter, and Nana of 4 precious grandbabies.
I’m very passionate about helping those who are affected by addiction, whether it be the person addicted, the family, the community, and especially the children who have parents who are struggling with addiction or children who have lost parents from addiction,
My first experience with drug addiction was with a sibling and I didn’t know much, other than judgment, denial, and harsh words. When my child fell into addiction, I was at a loss for words. I was so devastated, and that’s when I felt God's nudge to do something, get educated, have unconditional love, no judgment, and show awareness.

working for the Putnam County Recovery Coalition in January of 2023 as a Certified Addictions Peer
Recovery Coach (CAPRC II). Since joining the Coalition, she has worked diligently with community members
to reduce the stigma on substance use disorder and mental health issues. She gives the individuals she
serves compassion and the hope that recovery is possible.
